An organization associated with the activities of Object Data Management. Organizational units are typically associated with the responsibilities of creating, changing, or using data maintained by AssetWise.

Organizational units can also be associated with persons in a specific role, and can be hierarchically structured in a parent-component relationship to depict a complete definition of an enterprise.
